Ultimate Bet Not Likely to Return Funds
After the notorious Black Friday scandal in April, many gambling sites are under strict watch and among those that have been indicted; only one has managed to pay back the players. The negotiations between UB and the US Department of Justice did show some hope to the players but even after four months following the Black Friday scandal, no decisions have been taken. On April 15, 2011, Ultimate Bet and other gambling sites like Absolute Poker, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker were indicted, of which only PokerStars has managed to pay back their players. Full Tilt Poker is looking for financial back up to repay players and rebuild the site, but has remained unsuccessful so far. Negotiations have been taking place but no conclusive decisions have been made yet.
