Positive & Hopeful Online Gambling News for Three American States
According to a report from Business Week, Delaware state officials have made some headway in their efforts to regulate and license online gambling in their state. There have been a number of meetings with Delaware gambling industry representatives. During these meetings online gambling plans have been discussed, including making intra state online gambling legal.
In New Jersey, online gambling within the state could happen as early as the fall, according to the state’s senator, Ray Lesniak. The Senate Budge and Appropriations Committee passed the bill that was proposed by Lesniak and Whelan at the beginning of April, and the vote on the bill by the entire Senate is likely to occur May 31.
In the state of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Gaming Commission will soon hold a second meeting. During the initial meeting, it was decided by the Commission that in order to establish casino policies and law enforcement procedures, they will turn to the Michael & Carroll law firm for advice, as well as seek agreements with Spectrum Gaming Group.
