Twelve Construction Workers Injured by Falling Casino Floor
Twelve construction workers were injured when one of the floors of the Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati, Ohio collapsed. Four of the workers suffered bone fractures and other injuries, while three other workers sustained serious injuries that required surgery.
The Horseshoe Casino, which will be located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, is expected to be open for players to enjoy in the spring of 2013. It will feature approximately 85 table games and close to 2,000 slot games. In addition, it is being designed to accommodate an impressive World Series of Poker room, a restaurant and entertainment.
However, due to the recent accident that occurred during the building of the new Cincinnati land-based casino, it is unknown when construction will begin again.
